The one thing you must do to live your best life in 2019

Do you know why most people are unhappy, stressed, anxious…?

Why I too lived like this for many years?

Because you’re going against the natural flow of who you are and who you are meant to be.

When you are truly aligned and acting from a place of soul – from YOUR soul, life becomes so much easier and enjoyable!

But the issue is that we’ve been trained out of living this way.

From being a child we’re constantly told what we can and can’t do.

How we should and shouldn’t act.

Then we get older.

And we’re taught by society what’s socially acceptable and what isn’t.

We start to lose our sense of true self because it gets continuously pushed down.

…we think we need to fit in in order to survive in this world.

So we do.

And our true self keeps trying to push back out.

And we see glimmers of it and for a second we feel whole, at home. Happy, excited, exhilarated for life….

But then we cover it up before anyone can see it and judge us for being weird or against the grain…

We live as shells trying to be what we think others want us to be.

And often we don’t even know we’re doing it.

Because it’s been ingrained at such a deep subconscious level we start to identify with the false selves we’ve created just to get by….

I know this all sounds a bit dramatic. But you need to bring attention to this IF you want to live a life of ecstasy. (Now that’s dramatic!)

Because most people ARE hiding themselves

Every time you say yes to a social activity out of obligation you are hiding your true wants and desires.

Every time you go to that job you hate you are hiding your true self.

Every time you are scared to say what you actually, really think, you are hiding your true self.

And why?

So you can fit it?

People are going to judge you either way. For whatever you say, or don’t say.

Some will love you and some will won’t like you.

REGARDLESS of how good, kind or ‘nice’ you are.

They might show it or hide it.

The thing is that by living this way you are not being congruent with who you really are.

You aren’t being true to yourself

What you NEED to do is this…

Break down the beliefs you’ve been carrying around with you all of your life because oftentimes they aren’t even your beliefs…

Yep, that’s right.

They are your parents, caregivers, friends, teachers, societies….

You need to stop and ask yourself if you actually truly, deeply on a soul level believe whatever stories you are living by.

And this starts with being mindful.

Being mindful of how you actually feel in different situations.

Being mindful of the beliefs you carry, of how you think about yourself and others…

Mindful of your self-worth…

Which is important when it comes to being your true self.

Because so many of us try to bend to the will of others to feed our low self-worth.

And often, we aren’t even conscious of it.

Because to be disliked and judged can feel so much worse when you have low self-worth.

Really, we all just want to be loved.

But guess what?

Only ONE person’s opinion of you matters.

And that’s the person who has to live with you 24/7, for the rest of your life

Who has to deal with the consequences of your thoughts and actions

Who has to feel your minute by minute emotions

Yep, the ONLY person whose opinion matters is you

So go, be who you are in every moment of life.

And as you do, your confidence in yourself will naturally grow.

It will be scary at first.

You will feel vulnerable.

You will want to put those walls back up and protect yourself.

But slowly, you will feel more whole.

And you’ll realise the safest person to be is you – the ‘true’ you.

Not a fake character in a play.

The strong, connected, congruent and all powerful you.

But not only that, you’ll feel on fire.

Like you have an energy vault lighting you up!

Life will become exciting. You’ll feel like a kid at Christmas EVERY single day…

Life will never again be a bore, it will be everything it’s meant to be and so, so much more!

So go, be you and don’t let anyone ever tell you any different.
