Stop Resisting Change

It doesn’t matter who you are – your background, where you came from, the experiences you’ve had…we all have the potential to change our lives at any given moment.

We ALL have that power within us to change our life.

But you see the number one reason that we don’t is FEAR.

We fear change because the mind likes consistency, it likes routine, it likes to keep us safe.

So, any change, especially big change…we talk ourselves out of it.

We create our own prisons within the mind.

Yet fear is just within the mind, it is self-created.

Yep, we create our OWN limitations.

Which then holds us back from achieving the goals and the life..that we SHOULD be living.

Let me ask you…if fear was not applicable (if you felt no fear)…

Where would you be right now?
What would you be doing?
What would you be chasing after?

If your answers are different from where you are right now, then you may have allowed fear to limit your potential.

Which is crazy if you think about it…to allow something that you’ve created in your own mind to limit you like that.

But the good thing is that we created those limitations, we created that prison within our mind…that mindset…that cap on what is possible for us to achieve.

Therefore we also can demolish it and CHANGE it.

But it takes inspired action to do so.

You know, it’s great thinking positively…

It’s great practising affirmations and focusing on what you want.

But without inspired action…it won’t come into your life, (or very rarely).

You might get the odd occasion when something falls into your life, when you’re in sync and you’re in flow and things just seem to happen BUT in order to get to that stage, you have to put in some action.

You have to take steps forward.

You have to tell the universe that this is what you want.

That this (whatever it may be) is what you’re going after and start to walk towards it, if not run… to start to align yourself with that goal, that energy and also to tell your mind that this is something important to you.

And if you do this, you will start to notice things coming together, helping you towards your goals.

So, when you tell your mind that that ‘thing’ is important to you, whatever that may be – your goal, your dream, breaking through your fear, then all of a sudden your mind is going to start to recognize opportunities.

It’s going to come up with ideas.

You’re going to feel more in more flow and more in sync with going after it.

Those opportunities and situations might have been there already but your perception was in tunnel vision mode, in fear mode and couldn’t see what was around you, or what was right in front of you all along.

Your mind will not see it UNLESS you tell it what is important to you.

Start to realize these self-imposed limitations that you have put on yourself and realize that you have the power to remove them and replace them.

This is a necessary step because you shouldn’t fear change.

But what you should fear is getting to your deathbed and looking back on your life and realizing how much more you could have achieved, the gift you had to share with the world and the people you could have helped (or whatever it may be that you want to achieve) never made it into the world or helped anyone because fear held you back from that, this self-imposed mindset…

There’s a saying that the richest place in the world is the graveyard because it’s full of all these ideas and all these dreams that never happened that could have changed the world.

That could have helped others.

Even if it’s just one person.

So don’t become that statistic, another person that’s gone through their life and missed out on so much because of their own self-imposed limitations.

Realise that you DO have the power to change them, they are self-imposed..

And that you can change every single one of them, every single limiting belief, every single fear.

Sometimes, changing a fear or getting through a fear is literally just facing it, doing it anyway – pushing through it.

You can even start small, start with little things that might scare you, just to build up that
confidence to realize that if you do it, you push through, you’re not going to die…

(well, unless it is something dangerous then be careful )

But you get the idea.

Take a risk. What have you got to lose?

It’s a win-win really, you don’t lose anything and in the process, you grow.

And if you have a sense of fearing failure…failure is a GREAT thing for growth!

I’ll even go as far as saying that without failure you CAN’T be successful because there isn’t one person in the world who’s successful that hasn’t gone through failure.

Failure is a magical thing that helps us to see what we need to do to grow…

What we should do, what we shouldn’t do.

What works, what doesn’t work.

…Whether we are aligned and like something, or if we should choose a different path.

Failure is GREAT!

And if you’re not failing then you’re not out there pushing yourself out of your comfort zone
and challenging yourself enough because we should be failing at multiple things throughout our life in order to grow and to reach the places we’re going, so NEVER fear failure.

It’s automatically taught by default that failures a bad thing when growing up.

It’s not anyone’s fault, it’s just the system, that pre-programming that people have and just pass it on automatically, the school system – teaches us when we fail a test that it’s bad and same with college, just education in general teaches that if we do something and fail at it then there’s no reward.

We’re not taught that failing through it is in fact, growth because then next time, we’re closer to knowing what we need to do.

It’s passed down from our parents and peers because we’re all in this mindset that failure is bad.

But in actual fact, it’s not, it’s GOOD because it shows growth, shows that you’re moving forward.

It shows that you’re learning and if you learn from failure, that is, then it’s a GOOD thing.

So it’s only when we fail and give up, that failure becomes bad in a sense because this is when we use it as an excuse to stop trying when in fact, it’s just there to teach us a lesson.

It’s just there for growth and without it, you could never succeed in life.

So don’t fear failure. It’s great.

Push through and start to change your life, chase after your dreams and your goals.

Start to see fear for what it is….an illusion, self-created.

Start to see the prison you’ve created for yourself.

Start to unlock it, start to dismantle it and rebuild something greater.

This will free you from your own self-imposed limitations.

And you will be surprised just by starting that journey and having the intention of changing things, how your life will dramatically change for the better.

And you will feel EMPOWERED.

And MOTIVATED to continue to pursue this.

You’ll start to see just how LIMITLESS you are.

When you have your mind right and you realize that you have the power to change anything that is holding you back, then all of a sudden it frees you up of your chains and it gives you your power back

…And you can literally change your life into anything you desire it to be and with that brings a lot of JOY and HAPPINESS and FREEDOM.

So, I hope this has been helpful.

I hope you’re going to think about starting to challenge your limiting beliefs,
these self-imposed limitations and start to see that failure is actually great.

You’re not alone on this journey, there’s plenty of people you can reach out to that you can watch, read about to inspire you who have all done the same.

So, I hope this helps.
